Multi-point locks
(For UPVC & Composite doors)

We can open, replace, supply and fit new locks for UPVC doors.

Multipoint locks are mostly very secure when they are in the locked position. However because of the large number of moving parts, they are prone to failure. Getting the door open or finding a replacement lock can be problematic, especially if the company you bought the door from is no longer trading. Fortunately, we are able to open these locks and can normally find a replacement, either from stock or within 24 hours, since there are now so many variations it is not possible for us to keep them all in stock. (We normally fit a temporary lock if we need to order a new one).

We can also fit ‘bump resistant’ or ‘anti snap’ euro cylinders which are significantly more secure than standard euro cylinders. These can also be keyed alike or suited so that one key can open several doors.

A list of some of the more common lock manufacturers is shown below, but often the suppliers of the UPVC doors such as Everest, Anglian, Coldseal, Zenith, Staybrite etc... Do not have the name of the manufacturer on the lock itself, so care needs to be taken to identify the correct replacement.

Many of the smaller UPVC window companies buy in multipoint locks that are a ‘one off’ so we need to find an alternative with the same footprint, but we have a lot of experience in this field and can normally find a replacement.
